The Providence Road Bridge (south of Snyder Rd, Caddo Parish) will be re-opened on Tuesday, March 19 at approximately 9am to regular traffic due to completion of the bridge’s replacement.
Immediately after the bridge is opened, the second Providence Road Bridge (1 mile south of LA Hwy 169) will close at the same time as Parish crews begin the next phase of the Providence Road Bridge replacements. The final phase of construction is expected to take 70 days.
The Public Works Department is replacing the bridges and conducting associated road improvements to ensure decades of durability and safety for motorists that utilize these bridges.
