2021 PROPOSED PARISH OF CADDO BUDGET INTRODUCED; AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW
The 2021 proposed budget for the Parish of Caddo was officially introduced to the Caddo Parish Commission at a special meeting held on Thursday, October 29. The annual operating budget addresses the Parish’s most urgent operational needs, capital improvement initiatives, support of Parish agencies, economic development and social programs.
“The annual Parish budget represents one of the most important policy documents that the Commission will enact during the course of a year,” said Caddo Parish Administrator and CEO Dr. Woodrow Wilson. “The budget reflects the resources, strategies and goals of the Parish in the delivery of public services to our citizens and is indicative of the Commission’s financial discipline to ensure that funds are available across all department budgets to ensure we can respond to changing services demands and effectively utilize our existing resources,” said Wilson.
The budget is scheduled for adoption on Friday December 4 at 9am at the Commission’s annual budget meeting. Citizens who wish to review the proposed budget may now visit caddo.org, or review a copy at the Caddo Commission office, located on the first floor of Government Plaza. This location is a change from the Main Branch of the Shreve Memorial Library, which is currently closed due to renovations.
