CADDO PARKS CLOSED DUE TO RISING WATER LEVELS
Caddo Parish, LA – After consultation with Cross Lake Patrol, the following Caddo Parish parks and respective boat launch sites will close (effective today) due to rising water levels:
Richard Fleming Park - 7919 West Lakeshore Dr., Shreveport, LA
Milton James “Hookie’ Cameron Memorial Park - 10599 Wallace Lake Rd., Shreveport, LA
The Parish urges all citizens to adhere to all traffic barricades that have been placed, as it is unlawful to breach any barricade or official signage.
The Parish will continue to monitor water levels and parks will reopen only when water levels fall below guidelines set with local law enforcement and safety officials.
