    The human body is like an ecosystem, with trillions of microbes living in us and on us. Discover how a world of microbes living in and on you can make you sick-and keep you healthy. Check out specimens that could be (or are) living in you under the microscopes from 6:00-6:45. Nova Wonders: What's Living in You? starts at 6:45 PM on the big screen. Bring your blankets, chairs and snacks. Popcorn is provided. Admission is free.

    Are you jonesing for a trail run?! Join us at Eddie D. Jones Park for a 3 or 6 mile run on the Eddie D. Jones Trail, aka The Monkey Trail. Registration begins at 8am and races start at 9am. T-shirts for the first 50 to register. Refreshments and awards given after the race. This is a free event presented by Caddo Parish Parks & Recreation, which is funded through the Public Facilities and Recreation property tax millage.     Join us for the 8th Annual Bugs, Bats, & Bones. Enjoy an evening of non-scary, free, family-friendly fun! So many activities to do: *Guided Night Hikes- Leave your flashlight behind and explore your senses in the dark. Space limited. *Nocturnal Insect Hunt- Help entomologists check out the night life. *Exhibits & Presentations- Visit the Snake Pit, the Spider's Web, the Bat Cave, and more to learn the truth about these "creepy" animals. *Crafts- Arts and crafts activities for all ages, toddler to adult. *Games- Test your trivia skills on our bone and artifact game or join in a round of Bug Bingo and win prizes! *Get Your Grub On- Enjoy a tasty treat from Cafe Insecta if you're brave enough! *Storytime-Our littlest visitors can hear some not too creepy stories. *Lots more!
