About Fleet Services

The Caddo Parish Fleet Service Department works diligently to provide quality equipment and vehicle maintenance to all Caddo Commission departments and various other state and municipal offices. Quality care of vehicles is essential to the operation of Caddo Commission departments serving the citizens of Caddo Parish.

Installation and maintenance of traffic control devices (road signs) is important to the driving public. Road signs on Caddo Parish roads are maintained by the Caddo Parish Fleet Services Department. If you would like to report a missing sign, please click here.

During periods of heavy rainfall and flooding, the Caddo Parish Fleet Service has sandbags aavailable to citizens of Caddo Parish. Sandbags and sand are available by calling 226-6936. Sandbags and sand are separate and sand will need to be loaded by individuals at time of pick-up.

A: The Fleet Service Department will run a speed study on your road and submit findings to the Caddo Parish Commissioners. The change will have to be done by ordinances if road meets certain criterion.

Q: When are surplus equipment and vehicles sold?

A: Surplus sales of equipment and vehicles are usually held in the springtime of each year.

Q: Can I get special signs made for me?

A: Signs made by the Parish of Caddo are for Parish uses or for use of other governmental agencies, private citizens can not purchase road signs or specialty signs.
